📷 Camera & Live OCR
Purpose: Translate text from signs, menus, screenshots, and photos.
Privacy: Processed 100% on-device using Google ML Kit. Images are never uploaded to our servers.
🎙️ Microphone
Purpose: Voice translation and conversation mode.
Privacy: Voice is converted to text and not stored by Quick Tap Translator.
💬 Draw Over Apps
Purpose: Floating translation bubble and quick translation popup.
Privacy: Only translates text that you intentionally enter, copy, or paste.
⚙️ Foreground Service
Purpose: Keeps translation bubble active while using other apps.
Privacy: Used only for app functionality and not for tracking.
📋 Clipboard Access
Purpose: One-tap paste and translate feature.
Privacy: Clipboard is accessed only when you tap the Paste button.
🔒 Offline Translation Packs
Purpose: Translate without internet connection.
Privacy: Translation models run entirely on your device.
📊 Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
Purpose: Improve app stability and fix crashes.
Privacy: Only anonymous technical information may be collected. No translated text, messages, contacts, or personal conversations are collected.
🫧 Floating Translation Bubble
Purpose: Allows users to instantly translate text from any screen using a floating translation bubble that remains available while using other applications.
Privacy: The floating bubble only works when enabled by the user. Quick Tap Translator does not record screen activity, capture screenshots, monitor app usage, or store screen content. Translation occurs only when you intentionally interact with the translation feature.
⌨️ Translation Keyboard
Purpose: Provides quick translation while typing, allowing users to translate words, phrases, and sentences directly from the keyboard interface.
Privacy: Text entered through the translation keyboard is processed solely to provide translation functionality. Quick Tap Translator does not store keystrokes, passwords, personal messages, payment information, or sensitive user data.
♿ Accessibility Service
Purpose: Enables one-tap screen translation, text detection, and translation assistance across supported applications.
Privacy: Accessibility permissions are used exclusively to provide translation features requested by the user. Quick Tap Translator does not collect, store, sell, or share screen content, passwords, banking information, private messages, or personal data.
